Deb Bertram
My name is Deb Bertram, and I am excited to be starting my 31st year of teaching! Where have the years gone? I graduated from Moorhead State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. Since my graduation, I have obtained another special education license from St. Cloud State University, my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University, and my Reading Specialist Degree from Hamline University. I taught special education in Kimball, MN from 1985-2006, was a substitute teacher for one year after our move to Fairmont, taught two years at St. Paul Lutheran School, and have been teaching special education here in Sherburn since 2009.

I am married to Anthony Bertram, who is a pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Fairmont. In April of 2016, we will be married for 25 years! We have two children: Grace, who is a middle school English/Reading teacher in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and Sasha, who is a junior at Fairmont High School. We also have a Bichon Frise dog named Sophie.

In my spare time, I love to garden, read, go walking, cook, and take naps.

Thanks for allowing me to help the children at Sherburn Elementary. It is a job I take seriously!
