Why is there a MCW Booster Club?

The MCW Board and Administrators do a great job supporting our extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. School budgets are stretched and funding continues to be cut at the state level. The extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are usually one of the first to feel these budget cuts. The MCW Booster Club has been established to help out whenever possible.

The MCW Booster Club holds fundraisers throughout each school year to raise funds to help support these activities.

Fundraisers such as the:
§ Concession Stand @ FLASC Fields
§ “Hawkin’s” Tailgate Party held before a home football game.
§ Maverick Classic Golf Tourney – held each year in August at the Fox Lake Golf Club.
§ MCW Program Jackets – given out at home game of the year.

These events along with other Sponsor supported activities and your membership fee help out all students involved in extracurricular and co-curricular activities!

Each year at our September meeting, the MCW Booster Club along with the MCW Athletic Director review requests made by coaches and program heads of MCW extra-curricular and co-curricular activities for coming school year.  Each year, over $8,000 is donated to this request process.  Everything from Bats, Balls, Running Watches to Training Supplies, Travel Expense and Band-aids are considered.  Our Board is trying to use the donated dollars as best as we can, while supplying needed help to our school district.

A Lifetime Membership is $50.00.  MCW students would appreciate your support!
