Why is there a Martin County West Booster Club?
The Martin County West School Board and Administration do a great job of supporting our extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. School budgets are stretched and funding continues to be cut at the state level. The extra-curricular and co-curricular acitivites are usually first to feel these budget cuts. The MCW Booster Club has been established to help whenever possible.
The MCW Booster Club holds fundraisers throughout each school year to raise funds to help support these activities. Fundraisers such as:
- Concession stand at FLASC Fields
- Maverick Classic Golf Tournament
- MCW Program Jackets
These events along with other sponsor supported acitivites and your membership fee help all students involved in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
Each year the MCW Booster Club and the MCW Activities Director review requests made by coaches and program heads. Requests received have included everything from ball, bats, weights, training supplies, travel expenses, and band-aids. Each year over $8,000 is donated to this request process. The board uses the donated dollars as best they can while helping our district.
Please consider one of our sponsorship levels on our annual membership drive form. MCW students will appreciate your support! Contact any of our Booster Club Board Members listed to joing the Booster Club
